Talking Vegetables: healthy food can be FUN too!
We all know that a child's health depends directly on his diet. But how to make the little ones get used to a diet of healthy foods and vitamins? The old traditional answers are quite strict: as a parent you are supposed to get more serious about a healthy diet and follow these easy steps: 1) buy ONLY healthy food for your kids. 2) exclude all unhealthy snacks and sweets from your child's diet. 3) do your best to make him eat more fruits and vegetables.
Method of “forbidding and restricting certain foods” is not really effective, especially when everybody around is eating sweets, ice-cream, fresh rolls and chips. In such a situation the child will suffer from your restrictions and won't understand why he is being deprived of the so-called tasty food.
Children like all that is funny, interesting, amusing and tasty!
And ... Just check our Amusing TALKING VEGETABLES, for example, this funny cabbage:
If TALKING vegetables will make your little one laugh, will entertain him with funny stories and funny illustrations, will play with him, share with him playful recipes and will make good colourful tasty meals - the effect will be amazing! These vegetables will become your child's best friends for the rest of his life.
Sometimes children intuitively take snacks between lunch and supper, be it a banana, apple, carrot or even cabbage core. Many parents try to forbid even such snacks, thinking that it might spoil the child's appetite for the next meal. But, in reality, such a thirst for a 'healthy snack' is a sign that the child's organism *(body) is lacking some vitamins and craves them.
Try to introduce children to vitamin's coloring pages, read for them funny 'healthy' poetry and veggies-fruities fairytales, or, even better, act out this fairytale with your children at home, colour-in funny pictures with them, take your kids to the kitchen and together cook some tasty dishes from suggested healthy recipes - and the result won't make you wait. These actions will inspire your kids, they will like vegetables and fruits that bring them so much fun! They will eat them more and share them with their friends.
The most important in this entertaining methodology - 'Fruits and Veggies - Fun and Health" - to show to kids that Nature's Gifts can make them happy, can entertain and at the same time satisfy their hunger, taste good and 'play good' and can even heal.
If the principles of a healthy diet can be introduced to a child between the ages of 2 and 3, then in the future it will help him to avoid many unpleasant problems, such as flu, extra weight, pimples on his face etc. Many teenagers could have avoided the risks of horrible illnesses and digestion-related problems, if their parents had taught them at an early age about the principles and ideas of healthy food.
