Carrot and orange salad
- 500g carrot
- 2 oranges
- the juice of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- ground cinnamon to taste
Wash, peel and thinly slice the carrots. Peel the oranges and divide into segments. Mix the lemon juice with the caster sugar, cinnamon and oil, and pour the mixture over the salad.
Vitamins & Minerals in Vegetables
Vegetables are the essential source of vitamins and minerals, which are important to maintain a good health. Vegetables also make children
strong and helps in their growth, but unfortunately, kids are very
picky with the food they eat and do not eat vegetables. That is the
reason why preparing a healthy food is very much necessary and making

eating can make your kids eat their whole meal.
